| Customer Reviews: The travel book to take along October 18, 2009 T. Pendergrass (Seattle, WA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We found an old copy of this travel guide in our agriturismo. It proved better than the ones we brought along as it had more information on large and small towns than Fodor, Frommer, and Steves. The descriptions are clear and have tidbits making each town visit more fun. I bought a copy on my return and learned even more. While it may not be the best trip planning manual it provides great on site information. Highly recommended.
The Rough Guide to Tuscany review July 4, 2009 Bozeman girl (Montana) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this book on recommendation from a friend who uses this book when she goes to Italy. I am planning my honeymoon to Italy and this region is where we want to go to. Great book! Easy to read. I really like the down-to-earth comments the authors give. No holds barred here! Suggest this book to any traveler! Can't wait to go to Italy now. I'm more educated on what to do, avoid, and to look for.
